Menna Williams BHSc (Nat), Adv Dip Ayurveda & Post Grad Acupuncture.
Menna was born in rural Wales near the birth place of 'Meddygon Myddfai' the twelfth century pioneers of medicine through nature herbs and healing. Her interest in complementary and natural health modalities led her to study Health Science (Naturopathy) alongside an Advanced Diploma in Ayurveda (including an internship at SDM Ayurvedic Hospital in Udepi, India). On completion of this she studied Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Menna uses an integrative approach with her modalities combining Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to facilitate a deeply healing and unique energy releasing session. Assessing imbalances and providing guidance and support towards her clients wellbeing.

Acupuncture promotes natural health and a sense of wellbeing, treatment is aimed at the root of your condition. It triggers the body's healing response by calming the central nervous system, regulating hormones and releasing endorphins.

Menna has specialised and gained much experience in Acupuncture for women's health and cycles, infertility and from early pregnancy through to childbirth. When combined with massage this is a very nurturing and supportive session. Menna also practices mindful hypnobirthing which focuses on breathwork, deep relaxation, visualisation and your own unique scripts to support a calm, peaceful birthing journey.

Massage
Menna's Integrative massage has evolved from a number of bodywork courses and years of experience (it can include deep tissue, ayurveda, swedish and tui na and energy work). Working the soft tissues and muscles to release tension creating a calming and balancing effect on the while nervous system. It is useful stressors, muscle tension and/or a any specific injury/pain.
Ayurvedic Massage (abhyanga) uses specific oil for your particular prakruti and imbalances. (seasonal)

An Ayurvedic consultation will assist you to determine your Prakruti/constitution type and your state of health using Ayurvedic principles.
Menna then works with you to create a diet and lifestyle plan. This includes herbal remedies, recommendations for body therapies, and other tools such as yoga, breathing techniques and meditation.
